Job Description
Job Responsibilities


Provides instruction including hands-on and theory, classroom management, and performs administrative tasks that may include providing reports, syllabus and lesson plan development. Prepares and/or maintains current course syllabi for course(s) taught. Ensures that course(s) are taught in accordance with the established syllabi. May teach in the day, evening, and/or on-campus, as well as using alternate delivery methods i.e. internet, hybrid, etc. Extends placement and evaluation of student and clinical sites.

This position is located on the Airport Campus in the School of Health Care – Medical Assisting department.


Minimum And Additional Requirements


Associate's degree in Health Science or Science discipline and be a Certified Medical Assistant – CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) with three (3) years experience. The Clinical Coordinator must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in an ambulatory health care setting performing or observing both clinical and administrative duties.


Preferred Qualifications


Associate’s degree in a healthcare related field, three (3) years of recent employment in a health care facility, including a minimum of 160 hours in an ambulatory health care setting performing or observing administrative and clinical procedures as performed by medical assistants. Must be credentialed in Medical Assisting by an organization whose credentialing exam is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
