Job Description
Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Medical Assistant in Leominster.


The Leominster Adult Outpatient Center provides strength-based individual and group therapy to adults, and couples age 18 and over. We offer integrated, whole person care with primary care, a wellness program, and behavioral health. The Leominster Counseling Center also offers specialized substance use disorder treatment. Our office based opioid treatment offers buprenorphine and vivitrol treatment and we have a Second Offender Alcohol Education program.


This position offers a wonderful opportunity to join an expanding team that’s passionate and dedicated to providing quality integrated, therapeutic interventions within a supportive and energetic work environment.


  • Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height
  • Monitor the database to identify and reach out to those needing services.
  • Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
  • Perform EKG's, ear irrigations, and all other necessary testing as requested by primary care provider.
  • Work with other care teams including Practice Manager and Medical Director on quality improvement measures and process designs.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and self-directed
  • Work Client Registries via Electronic Health Record, Microsoft Access, or other databases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Prepare treatment rooms keeping them clean and properly stocked.
  • Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
  • Responsibility to inform the care team if a patient is out of compliance consistently.
  • Automate and perform processes by phone or send letters to patients either overdue for medical care or out of compliance with the goals of their care.

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to recognize problems, think creatively, and devise innovative solutions.
  • Grade C02 Medical Assistant I - Certification in Medical Assisting required
  • Meet regularly with multi-disciplinary care team (including Intensive Care Manager, Provider, Care Support Worker) to help create plans for specific patients and populations not achieving optimal care.
  • Collaborate and provide data to care team to establish population appropriate pre-visit screenings, assessments, and needs.
  • Grade C04 Medical Assistant II - Associates degree in Medical Assisting required
