Come join a friendly and diverse clinical team that provides quality care! Community Healthlink (CHL) is looking for a full-time (37.5 hrs/wk) Medical Assistant in Leominster.
- Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight, and height
- Monitor the database to identify and reach out to those needing services.
- Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
- Perform EKG's, ear irrigations, and all other necessary testing as requested by primary care provider.
- Work with other care teams including Practice Manager and Medical Director on quality improvement measures and process designs.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and self-directed
- Work Client Registries via Electronic Health Record, Microsoft Access, or other databases.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Prepare treatment rooms keeping them clean and properly stocked.
- Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients and visitors.
- Responsibility to inform the care team if a patient is out of compliance consistently.
- Automate and perform processes by phone or send letters to patients either overdue for medical care or out of compliance with the goals of their care.

- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to recognize problems, think creatively, and devise innovative solutions.
- Grade C02 Medical Assistant I - Certification in Medical Assisting required
- Meet regularly with multi-disciplinary care team (including Intensive Care Manager, Provider, Care Support Worker) to help create plans for specific patients and populations not achieving optimal care.
- Collaborate and provide data to care team to establish population appropriate pre-visit screenings, assessments, and needs.
- Grade C04 Medical Assistant II - Associates degree in Medical Assisting required
