JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position assists with the daily activities of a clinical site and facilitates the flow of patients by providing clerical and clinical health care support to patients and family under the direction of a provider. The position requires mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities. Weekend shifts are required for this position, potentially one weekend day every weekend. Urgent Care clinic is located at UVM Medical Center's Fanny Allen campus and has on-site parking.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training in a relevant area preferred. CPR certification required.
EXPERIENCE:
One year experience providing or assisting in direct patient care required.
