We are searching for a Medical Affairs Project Coordinator to join the Global Medical Affairs team. As a Project Coordinator, your main focus will be on the operational execution of Medical Affairs projects. This position will engage with multiple internal teams including Project Management, Marketing, Regulatory, Legal and the Research/Development teams. The ideal candidate will have experience working on diagnostic or pharmaceutical projects.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Guiding team processes, ensuring consistency, transparency, and optimization; fosters continuous improvement
  • Compiling and communicating project reports
  • Identifying project gaps, potential bottlenecks, or delays
  • Coordinating interactions and requests from cross functional project teams
  • Coordination of logistics and distribution of agendas/minutes
  • Coordinating interactions with Project teams to assist with planning for Symposia, Advisory Boards, and Focus Groups
  • Tactical coordination of timelines/budgets for projects and functions within Medical Affairs
  • Determines and develops approaches to assignments
  • Managing execution of cross-functional plans and tracks progress of activities
  • Solves a broad range of problems of varying scope and complexity
  • Developing tracking systems and checklists for managing project tasks
  • Coordinating with legal team for contracting processes and to ensure compliance with activities
  • Managing project information to support decision making, planning, execution and tracking of Medical Affairs projects
  • Facilitates meetings, scheduling, agenda creation and distribution of meeting minutes
  • Serving as point of control for project data (collects from functions/finance; owns version management and release of changes)
  • Leads projects requiring coordination with other internal organizations and customers
  • Assisting with project management support for general Medical Affairs activities as required
  • Supporting Medical Affairs Programs and Study related operational activities
  • Proposing options to close gaps and ensure projects completed on schedule


Qualifications


  • Great can-do attitude
  • Possesses problem solving skills and ability to coordinate project related activities
  • 1-3 years of clinical operations or medical affairs experience
  • Bachelors or Masters Degree or University degree or equivalent
  • Great customer service experience


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience working with clinical, pharma or diagnostics projects is preferred
