Job Description

You will work for a growing division of an international company, which offers relocation assistance and great benefits. You should have at least two years’ experience with a manufacturing company that uses complex production machinery. Be well-versed in equipment specification and design, equipment rebuilds, installation, and equipment modification for reliability improvement. Engineering degree is required. Experience in heavy manufacturing such as automotive, steel, other primary metals, cement, paper or similar industries preferred.


Relocation assistance is available.

• Manage all phases of engineering projects from project request to project closure:

• Work with project team in the development of a solution to a project request

• Develop bills of material & recommendations for spares for all projects

• Prepare appropriation requests for capital equipment purchases & major repairs

• Track/forecast project costs to maintain good budget control

• Provide training to end-users on changes to existing equipment and new installations

• Design solution & produce drawings based upon scope of work & interaction with end-user


You should be able to read and develop drawings in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Your safety knowledge should include OSHA and other safety codes, powered industrial vehicles, heavy machinery.


BS degree required in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar. Must have at least years’ Project Engineering experience in equipment maintenance in a heavy manufacturing environment. Experiencer with robotics, PLC’s, automation is a plus. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
