Your specific duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

·Planning for and teaching multiple sections / classes of math each day using a rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum,

·Demonstrating exceptionally strong instructional and classroom management skills,

·Developing strong, productive relationships with students, parents and families

·Participating in professional development opportunities and attending all staff, team, and community meetings

·Creating a positive, achievement-oriented classroom culture that allows all students to achieve high academic standards

Additional qualifications:

·Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply

·Master’s Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree required

·1-2 years of full-time teaching experience preferred

·Full Rhode Island certification or eligibility to receive expert residency or emergency certification

·Exceptionally strong organizational and problem-solving skills

·Ability to demonstrate competency in other content areas beyond certification content, particularly in Literacy.
