What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with classroom teachers, building administrators, and parents as needed to support the learning and growth of scholars
• Build confidence, and relationships, and encourage progress for scholars. Use data-driven instruction to help close the achievement gap of identified scholars
• The Math Advantage Interventionist will utilize math intervention strategies and available math intervention program(s) to provide students with targeted support in fluid small groups based on lowest deficit skills.
• Analyze data daily to make an informed decision that connects data to responsive teaching
• Track growth data and ensure 100% of the scholars you serve either meet or exceed expected annual growth gains
• Utilize instructional strategies and research-based intervention curriculum materials to meet the learning needs of identified scholars

Education and Experience:

• Strength in using data to drive instruction
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative student data
• Credential required OR Enrolled in an accredited teacher licensing program
• Understanding/previous experience with the MTSS process providing individual support for scholars
• Proven experience in raising scholar achievement
• Experience working with a scripted intervention program
• Willingness to align your mission with the vision of JRLA's Core Values
• Bachelor’s degree
