Material Handling Operator Jobs

Role and Responsibilities

Unload trucks at various pits that are operated by screw conveyers or drags

Drive heavy equipment (front end loaders, skid steers and yard trucks)

Maintain the cleanliness of the yard area at all times

Clean pits and elevators as necessary

Preferred Skills

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Ability to work as a team

Ability to work in the cold and heat

Ability to climb as needed

Additional Requirements

Prolonged periods of standing (up to 12 hours at a time)

Repetitive tasks such as bending and lifting

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
