We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join Cellanome. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of materials, goods, and supplies; They will also provide support with facilities and purchasing related tasks. The job duties include:

  • Identify and resolve in a timely manner any discrepancies or issues with inventory or deliveries
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • May support purchasing team with PO and requisition preparation and processing
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to the departments
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management and control procedures
  • Assign, track, and reconcile inventory and lot traced material
  • Will assist with facilities tasks and collaborate with consultants and other vendors
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and products to ensure quality and accuracy

Role Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and biotech industry standards
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field preferred; High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a material handling role in a biotech or pharmaceutical company; Experience with multiple units of measure and lot tracing preferred

We provide competitive total compensation packages, including base pay, benefits, and equity. In California, the estimated base salary range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
