Job Description

As a Material Handler you will utilize forklifts, electric pallet jacks, hand trucks and other handling equipment to load, unload, and move material within Bio-Rad’s chemical plant warehouse. You will pick and stage production materials, record inventory statuses, and ensure the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries. Your work will involve going in and out of refrigerators and freezers and extensive use of SAP.

How You’ll Make An Impact:

  • Receive material, drive forklift, offload trucks – vital daily process.
  • Checklist housekeeping, forklifts, freezers, electric pallet jack, putting material away – vital process.
  • Complete cycle counting of inventory – vital daily process.
  • Pick & stage materials for production, walk into refrigerators & freezers wear respirator – vital process.
  • Ship finished goods to the DC, drive forklift, load trucks – vital daily process.

What You Bring:

  • Education: High school diploma.
  • Writing skills, be able to articulate emails about issues and resolutions.
  • SAP computer skills.
  • Work Experience: 2 years experience optimal but not required.
  • Physical requirements – lifting, standing, climbing, pushing, pulling, ability to periodically wear a full-face respirator.

Compensation:
The estimated hourly rate for this position is $16.44 to $22.64 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
