Columbus Forge has Materials Team Members supporting the Materials Managers for critical part flow through operations to support customer deliveries.

Key functions of this role include, but are not limited to: Milk runs, maintaining heats, thru put and delivery needs. Part of lean/CORE environment, working to streamline flow between operations. Ability to work with materials, operations, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Competency in all phases of data entry and report generation.
• Knowledge of PC-based information systems (SAP and Microsoft Products) is also required.
• Incumbent should be able to demonstrate success in motivating teams to set and accomplish goals, and the practical application of continuous improvement principles.
• Analytical and multi-tasking skills required.
• Ability to work with all levels of employees, management and customers is required.
• Must be capable of managing various tasks with “tight” deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• US Citizen due to program requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
