Job Description
Summary:
Pulls permits in jurisdiction as needed. Installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical circuits, appliances, systems, facilities, and related electrical controls and devices.
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Responsibilities:
Installs disconnects, lights, devices, and electrical panels. Installs motors, motor control circuits, electrical systems in hazardous locations, and transformers. Installs battery banks, battery charges, and switch gear. Installs intrusion alarm systems and grounding systems in general facilities.
Performs periodic operations, maintenance, and supervision of generators and switch gear relays, and control switches. Troubleshoots switch gear circuits, voltage regulators, and control switches.
Replaces circuit components including instruments meter, voltage regulators, surge protectors, relays, and control switches. Troubleshoots motors and motor control circuit across the line starters, reduce voltage starters (auto transformer, resister), reversing starters, and electrical systems in hazardous locations, battery banks, and battery chargers.
Plans, estimates, and commissions new installations or renovations of electrical systems or equipment.
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Requirements:
  • Other information: Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED. Trade specific education. Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Master Electrician. Minimum Experience: 5 years direct experience.

The pay range for this position is: $33.82 - $50.73 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
