Summary
The Master Data Manager will establish and lead our Master Data Operations and Development processes, manage all enterprise-wide master data activities, and lead the Master Data Commercial team and Development team. The position will partner with our Lamb Weston EMEA team for consistent processes and governance. Additionally, focusing on establishing and ensuring adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies, procedures that are relevant to regulatory, legal, and ethical mandates. The role supports the Sr. Manager in organizing and leading a team of Global Data Stewards in establishing, maintaining, and communicating data standards, and practices, both at the department and Business and Functional areas level, to achieve the required level of consistency, quality, and protection to meet overall business needs. Achieving customer data requirements is also embedded in this organization.

The Master Data Manager serves as a point of escalation for their team's data quality and development issues and partners with Business and Functional area leadership to improve the quality and value of core data assets, process and system program priorities and projects as well as support the strategic requirements of the department.
  • Coordinate external data sources to eliminate redundancy and streamline the expense related to those services.
  • Oversee data stewardship business process descriptions and process models/maps.
  • Centralize processes for data management and data quality from multiple systems into one standard set of processes.
  • Work with the Enterprise Data Architect and business functions to help roll out an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture.
  • Work closely with IT to support the evolution of multiple ERPs.
  • Define processes for the effective, integrated introduction of new data.
  • Provide leadership in the areas of data governance, master data management, data migration to the process & system teams during blueprinting, deployment, and steady state operations activities.
  • Identify and standardize the use and governance of information in support of the overall global business strategy.
  • Support the Sr. Manager in working with Global Data Stewards to develop data standards and rules for cleansing, mapping, integrating, managing, and establishing hierarchies for key company data.
  • Identify new business opportunities with your Sr. Manager pertaining to the use of information assets to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in the marketplace / represent data as a strategic business asset at the Senior Management table.
  • Define and manage policies and programs which advance the role of business data stewards in alignment with legal, security around sensitive data, and corporate risk.
  • Consolidate teams across the company into one centralized and global team.
  • Identify new types and sources of data to drive business innovation throughout the organization.
  • Support the Sr Manager to Implement and manage a global master data organization.
  • Evolve and institutionalize behaviors for the appropriate use of information within changing privacy needs, ethical values, and cultural norms.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a progressive leadership role with experience in leading cross-functional teams and enterprise-wide programs with change or transformation leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a major services organization, with large-scale data or project management and oversight experience.
  • Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies, and/or designing strategic metrics and scorecards.
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurement system design.
  • Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
  • 5+ years leading teams responsible for ERP data management.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in CPG industry preferred.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $107,390.00 - $161,090.00
