The Marketing Specialist at Deschutes Brewery will be responsible for assisting with the development, execution, and implementation of brand strategy, marketing programs, and initiatives across a variety of channels. This includes portfolio management, innovation, and calendar planning as well as providing support to the sales team. This role works closely with the sales and marketing teams by managing projects, completing administrative tasks, and assisting the sales team with retail and market activations. Key attributes of the role include strong tactical marketing skills, an acute attention to detail, and the ability to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate trademark activities with legal team and oversee regulatory compliance on product packaging.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Support the new product development process by providing support for the marketing and product development teams.
• Own all marketing assets, ensuring that point-of-sale promotional materials, presentation decks, photos, and all brand assets are properly organized and available for sales and other stakeholders as needed.
• Act as a liaison between internal creative teams and agencies for branding ideas, graphic designs, packaging design, email marketing campaigns, promotional materials, and advertising copies.
• Assist with the Go-To-Market process for new products and manage the innovation calendar with support from the innovation & insights manager and new product development team.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing and internal product innovation teams, using independent judgement to swiftly prioritize tasks. Responsible for all sample shipments and ensuring that product is available for meetings, media mailings, customer presentations, and as needed by the sales team.
• Manage timelines and activities for packaging design, retail programming, new product launches and other projects as assigned.
• Coordinate promotional activities, retail activations, and other marketing promotions.
• Must follow and adhere to all Deschutes Brewery company policies and procedures.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

• 4-year college degree or equivalent combination education and experience (Marketing degree preffered).
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders on cross functional projects.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working in a marketing department or brand innovation.
• Must be proficient in MS Suite and have strong MS PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with project management, marketing strategies and brand innovation.
• Must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications is a plus.
