Job Description

The Image/Production Coordinator is responsible for managing, organizing, updating, distributing, editing, deleting, curating, archiving and “digitally filing” digital assets for all banners: ShopRite, PriceRite, Fresh Grocer, Gourmet Garage, Fairway and Dearborn. In addition this person is responsible for managing all promotional ads sent to advertising by the manufacturers inclusive of updating and making sure the production team has all assets needed to produce the printed and digital circulars.


Essential Functions

Ideal candidate must be extremely organized have exceptional time management skills with the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines. This person needs strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Monday.com. In addition, this person will interface with Advertising production staff, divisions and the manufacturers if needed. This person must also be proficient in Graphic Design as well as knowledge of OmniOffer, WireFraming, SoftProof and Easy Catalog.


Core Functions / Minimum Requirements

The core functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Organize, rename, tag, and upload assets to the DAM for internal and external usage.
  • Process images to and from outsourcing partners for editing needs and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Adhere to metadata, taxonomy, and asset guidelines.
  • Upload archived & legacy assets to the DAM with metadata & keyword additions.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
  • Collaborate with internal departments in the development and modification of digital workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Process images from manufacturers into the DAM
  • Enhance DAM image searchability through keywording and tagging.
  • Manage the Advertising DAM and all advertising photos, naming, retouching and upload to the DAM
  • Assist the circular production staff as needed
  • Coordinate with various teams to verify policies related to image rights, licensing, & usage.
  • Process and correct promotional ads from manufacturers for the print and digital circular.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Graphic Design Capabilities
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and remain organized.
  • Knowledge of structured content standards (Metadata, Tagging).
  • Excellent Working knowledge of: Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Monday.com OmniOffer, WireFraming, EasyCatalog, SoftProof and Fetch.
  • Four-year college degree strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills with an ability to train.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively problem solve.
  • 2-5 years of experience in similar role
  • Solid understanding of file formats, IPTC metadata standards, and asset organization best practices.
  • Knowledge of MS Word & Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, and SoftProof.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing tasks.


Working Conditions & Physical Demands

  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with a current requirement of 3 days in person, as established by the division
  • Ability to monitor computer screens for long periods of time
  • Some Travel Required
  • Ability to flex hybrid schedule to attend important meetings and vendor or store visits based on business needs
