Marketing Manager - Content Creator

Franklin Armory is one of America’s most innovative manufacturers of firearms, parts and accessories. We are seeking an experienced Marketing Content Creator to develop engaging multimedia content for use in advertising, social media, tradeshows, and marketing communications. The position is full time and located in Minden, NV.

The ideal candidate will have 3-plus years of relevant digital content creation experience, including video, graphic design, social media, and email marketing. An understanding of the firearms industry is preferred but not required. However, a strong desire to work in the firearms industry is essential.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Updating marketing and brand collateral with the most up to date changes in general, technical, trademark/IP, and product specification information
• Assist in creation of internal and external promotional pieces
• Social media posting, optimization, and writing effective/relevant captions
• Updating our website with the most current information
• Designing high quality digital and print marketing collateral for internal and external channels
• Assist the Sales and Marketing team on projects as needed
• Creating and scheduling various digital media for upcoming events
• Create and refine email marketing/sales campaigns
• Capturing quality video and photography content for various social media platforms

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office365
• Previous marketing experience in the firearms or outdoor industry a plus
• Must pass a drug test
• Strong communications and social skills
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
• Previous military and law enforcement is a plus
• Ability to multi-task and simultaneously handle coordination of several events in various stages
• A positive attitude and meticulous attention to detail are required
• Must be able to pass an extensive background check
• Possess a basic knowledge of patents, trademarks, and branding
• Expert proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Lightroom) or similar creative tools
• Must be legally able to possess a firearm under Nevada and Federal law
• SEO, website design, and analytics experience a plus
• Must abide by company safety policies

Physical Demands:

• Work in inside and outside environments with heat, cold, inclement weather, around moving objects, and with machinery with moving parts
• Moderate walking, standing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Required to lift up to 50lbs
• Frequent exposure to fumes, dust, and noise

Work Environment:

• Ensures compliance with legal and company ordinances in his/her areas of responsibility
• Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, etc.
• Some travel required
• Maintain the highest level of safety and cleanliness
• Keeps his/her standard of knowledge up-to-date in his/her area of responsibility through continuing education measures
• Work performed in a shop and office environment
• Ensure that all documentation is correct including quantities and other records
• Must be present in regular attendance and have a flexible work schedule
