Description:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading commercial marketing programs and execution for the US Early Intervention business. Core responsibilities include:

  • Market Access liaison and lead on creation of programs and promotional tools
  • Training liaison to support new hire training and education of SFO
  • Managing the copy approval process, working with medical/regulatory/legal for Patient promotional resources
  • Creation of new process and metrics for sampling program
  • Support digital engagement and program development – integrate across DPS
  • Leading the Patient promotional materials development, enhancements and trainings for both printed and digital resources
  • EI Bank Account and sponsorship management with budget oversight
  • Pricing support for quarterly pricing and reimbursement documents
  • KOL development and execution of peer-to-peer education for new clinical messaging
  • PEAK management – promotional responsibility, supply chain management and SFO execution

The role will require developing new commercial programs and business models to ensure business objectives are consistently and sustainably achieved. Strong collaboration with internal business partners is required – sales, market access, medical, regulatory, legal, compliance.

The position reports to the US Senior Marketing Manager for the Early Intervention business.

Commercial Objectives:

  • Increase market share position against competition
  • Manage project expense within budget
  • Ensure operational focus for selling organization and overall commercial business
  • Achieve business plan objectives of sales, net income, inventory and key performance indicators across key programs

Brand Strategy

  • Contribute to development of US brand strategies for products, services, programs and other key initiatives including establishment of value proposition, targeting & segmentation, positioning, and lifecycle management for the Early Intervention portfolio.

Customer Insights and Analytics

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for our product portfolio, competitive strategies and products, procedures, and the innovation landscape.
  • Partner closely with sales to capture input on customer needs and ensure strong alignment with product strategy in collaboration with our global strategic marketing partners.
  • Establish market needs through frequent customer interactions - travel with sales consultants, attend industry/society meetings, professional education courses, support corporate customer education visits, review medical journals, etc.

Portfolio Planning & Pipeline Prioritization

  • Provide US market and customer insights to the global strategic marketing team to drive pipeline decision-making, development of launch messaging materials, etc.
  • Develop new commercial programs and business models to support the visualization product portfolio.
  • Contribute to multigenerational portfolio plans aligned to company strategy.

General Business Support

  • Be responsive to requests from customers, sales consultants, etc.
  • Partner with Professional Education & Tradeshow groups to build promotional plans around key events and provide on-site support.
  • Work collaboratively with other functional areas to ensure business issues are addressed and strategies are being executed.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in highly regulated industry is required.
  • 8 years total of progressive business experience in any of the following areas: Marketing, Sales, R&D, or a combination of experience in these functions.
  • Position requires approximately up to 35% domestic travel including weekends.
  • College BS/BA required. MBA preferred.
  • Ability to work hands-on in a dynamic customer orientated environment.
  • Experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical marketing and/or sales is required
