What We Need


UMortgage is seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Marketing. As our Director of Marketing, you will be a key player in shaping our marketing strategy and leading a talented team towards achieving our business objectives. With your analytical mindset and customer-centric approach, you will identify innovative marketing opportunities, develop compelling campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution. What You’ll Do


  • Oversee the Marketing Team Leader as a direct report to generate and drive marketing strategies that align with business goals, increase lead generation, and enhance adoption of existing campaigns.
  • Ability to work with delivery partners and appropriately delegate needs for project completion.
  • Develop strategies and create customer journeys to set direction and provide structure to team members.
  • Monitor user adoption and utilize analytics to enhance existing and create new customer journeys.
  • Additional responsibilities related to business needs.
  • Provide clear and direct feedback to enhance the quality of projects and encourage professional development for team members.
  • Develop national campaign strategies that align with the company’s goals and priorities for both brand and Loan Originator audiences.
  • Research, monitor, and communicate the competitive landscape on a regular basis and refine strategy in response to trends.
  • Maintain detailed timelines, project plans, and hours budgeted for project deliverables and key milestones.
  • Ability to identify multiple personas and develop customer journeys that align with a user’s interactions.
  • Work with key project stakeholders to initiate campaign kick-off and move projects forward.
  • Responsible for analyzing campaign results and making recommendations to enhance future programs and projects.
  • Experience leading creative teams to properly prioritize and produce content for the UMortgage brand, Loan Originators, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to design customer journeys that are focused on adoption and engagement of the user.


What You Need

  • Experience creating and executing marketing plans and materials.
  • Ability to create, manage, and successfully execute multiple, simultaneous project plans and schedules.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines in ambiguous environments while still driving towards results.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Experienced in deploying successful national marketing campaigns through a variety of organic and paid channels (social media marketing, ppc, content curation, direct mail, digital advertising, industry media, etc.).
  • Experienced in leading creative teams within the Marketing space.
  • Must be adaptable, accountable and deadline driven.
  • Must be an experienced communicator with solid project management skills.
  • Experience with Product Marketing and a strong focus on user adoption and engagement.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing/brand management or related field required.
  • Must exhibit a strong understanding of the latest marketing trends.
