Marketing Data Analyst Role Level 1

We are currently seeking a Marketing Data Analyst (MDA) to assist with campaign analysis and strategy. The position will be an integral part of the internal data team and work closely with data suppliers and analytical vendors. The MDA will provide support to our Senior Data Solutions Manager, (SDSM) with the expectation of timely and accurate insight. The role entails expediting thoughtful and precise campaign analyses, as well as

relevant research, reporting, test design and preparation of client presentations. This is a unique opportunity to be mentored by industry experts and have significant potential for advancement. Key Responsibilities

● Review data discovery calls with clients to understand reporting and analysis needs

● Proactive setup and first drafts of campaign analysis

● Quality control on campaign reporting

● Ongoing development of dashboard requirements that will meet the analysis and reporting needs of clients

● Revisions to final campaign analyses and decks

● Frequent reporting and research to improve campaign response

● Assist with model building and other analytical projects

● Follow confidentiality, data security and compliance rules

● Other miscellaneous data team support tasks as appropriate

Requirements

● 2 years minimum marketing campaign analysis or equivalent experience

● 1 year experience in SQL queries

● Background in data science, mathematics, marketing, or related engineering

● Direct mail experience is desired but not required

● Strong analytical and math skills, including prorating campaign costs

● An ability to work autonomously and follow instructions

● Detail and accuracy oriented

● Proactive attitude, with foresight towards on-going opportunities

● Enjoys meeting agency needs, building trust and being a part of a team
