FCS International is excited to open up a new opportunity within our Marketing team! This position has the option to work remotely or from one of our physical California office locations (abiding by the FCS Workplace Policy). This is a multifaceted role in a busy environmental services & sustainability consulting firm. We are looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about helping our internal and external clients, sharing a cohesive message, and improving the world around us!


The Marketing Associate (CG05) will be responsible for managing corporate communications and processes; maintaining promotional materials inventory and company websites; planning meetings and webinars; maintaining databases; preparing reports and managing project scheduling, among other duties. This individual must be able to proactively drive projects and work collaboratively with others in an enthusiastic and detail- and process-oriented manner.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Manage marketing newsletters and lead gen emails, including content, to improve open, click-through and conversion rates
  • Manage corporate and internal communications and collateral to ensure a sense of brand consistency, brand ownership, brand culture, and brand values within the organization
  • Maintain company marketing drive to ensure version control
  • Maintain guardianship of the ADEC Professional Services brands, and their associated products, both internally and externally
  • Manage events, webinars, and podcasts to ensure deadlines are met; identify appropriate media outlets to promote and implement
  • Continually gather knowledge of company practices and product lines to facilitate marketing leadership and expertise, as well as personal career development
  • Seek to advance processes to improve marketing programs
  • Support external clients and partners within budget and deadline parameters for maximum engagement opportunities
  • Successfully deliver marketing communications from concept to execution as specified by the approved MarCom calendars
  • Traffic marketing materials and promotional items from design through proof review and finalization, including electronic files, printing, and shipping
  • Maintain and update company websites using MODX to make real-time edits, and work with offshore marketing team to manage website content
  • Communicate with and leverage both internal and external vendors and teams to drive project deliverables while achieving utilization goals
  • Support lead generation and ensure all marketing generated leads are accurately entered into necessary systems; use reports and dashboards to manage data quality of leads; manage leads who no longer wish to receive marketing communications
  • Support internal sales teams in achieving company goals

  • Extremely detail-oriented; works well under pressure; effectively manages deadlines, ad hoc requests, and changing priorities; takes initiative and drives projects to completion
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams at various levels of seniority and within different cultures and geographic regions
  • Impeccable organizational skills to manage continually changing priorities across multiple practices, services, external partners, and internal teams
  • Ability to monitor regular analytics to translate into actionable results and provide recommendations
  • Works well in a team environment, as well as able to take the lead on projects from beginning to end
  • Ability to review copy for content and accuracy, as well as brainstorm outlines and draft content
  • Precise communication skills that facilitate project goals, while maintaining a positive and constructive rapport with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of best practices in digital marketing techniques (email, website, SEO, social media, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Salesforce CRM, Pardot, Smartsheet, Anchor.fm, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, and MODX or similar CMS


Education And Experience


  • Experience in environmental services and/or corporate sustainability a plus
  • 3-5 years in marketing with experience in digital communications and special emphasis on business-to-business in the United States and Europe
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field or equivalent experience


Work Environment


The position currently operates in a remote, home office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
