Marketing Assistant - Marketing, Promotions & Public Relations

We are actively seeking a motivated Entry Level Marketing Assistant to work on ground breaking campaigns with an advertising and marketing firm in the local region. The Entry Level Marketing Assistant position is a valued team member in the marketing and advertising department. The position is considered entry level to start during training which includes a comprehensive overview of basic marketing strategy, direct advertising, promotional techniques, visual merchandising and consumer market research. After successful completion of the program, an individual would be considered a team lead in the marketing department. The entry level Marketing Assistant reports directly to the Executive Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and tearing down all events
• Display and merchandise management
• Assist with mild inventory management before, during and after each event
• Engage with our clients consumer base and effectively communicate their brand story
• Drive sales through the register

Requirements

• Able to work full time, 40 hours a week
• Able to travel locally to events
• Comfortable working with people in a face to face setting
• Comfortable with sales, marketing and customer service
• Experience in events, marketing, promotions, or brand management a plus but not required
