Job Title: Marketing and Branding Director


Location: Seattle, WA


Job Summary:


We are looking for a creative and experienced Marketing and Branding Director to join our team and lead the development and execution of our marketing and branding strategies. The ideal candidate will be a forward-thinking individual who can effectively communicate the benefits of our sustainable products to potential clients, partners, and the general public, and drive brand awareness and growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Develop and implement innovative marketing and branding strategies to increase brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and position Planted Materials as a leader in the sustainable materials industry.
  2. Collaborate with the executive team to define and communicate Planted Materials' mission, vision, and unique selling propositions.
  3. Oversee the creation of all marketing materials, including digital and print advertisements, brochures, presentations, and other promotional materials.
  4. Manage the company's online presence, including website content, social media channels, and blog, ensuring consistent messaging and brand identity across all platforms.
  5. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  6. Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and tracking return on investment.
  7. Collaborate with sales, product development, and other teams to align marketing efforts with company goals and objectives.
  8. Establish and maintain relationships with key industry influencers, partners, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
  9. Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize results.
  10. Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:


  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  2. Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and branding campaigns.
  3. Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  4. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and convincingly.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and develop talent.
