In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

BAE Systems seeks candidates for a manufacturing technologist role with responsibilities towards, but not limited to:
  • Performing various tasks in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinate with engineers in the set-up and calibration of tasks.
  • Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement while always trying to be creative in finding ways to improve processes as well as keeping an emphasis on cost, quality, schedule, and safety.
  • Perform rework and quality tests related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Working from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans utilizing manufacturing test development or diagnostic equipment.
  • Working with computer systems and a variety of computer applications.
  • Performing functions such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Supporting work instruction creation, modification and improvements.
  • May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process and to collect design data or assist in research work.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed fulltime on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Strong ability to maintain focus during execution.
  • 3-5+ years experience in an electronics assembly environment.
  • Ability to pass drug and background screenings.
  • The optimal candidate will have a "can-do" attitude with an eye for making things better.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and work independently.
  • A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products and be able to use a computer to communicate with the team at a high level.
  • Use clear written or oral communication to share information with team members and management.
  • Must have great organizational skills and attention to detail.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship or Permanent Resident status.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • IPC J-STD solder certification.
  • IPC 620 certification.
  • IPC 610 certification.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $49489 - $84153

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
