Job Description
About The Position
Our client, a leading company in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for their Second Shift to join their Genomic Medicine Unit (GMU) CMC group. This group focuses on establishing best-in-class manufacturing platforms for advanced cell and gene therapy products, including recombinant AAV vectors, lentiviral vectors, and cell therapy products. The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for providing hands-on technical leadership and operational oversight in a cell therapy manufacturing suite in Framingham, Massachusetts.
Qualifications
  • Experience in GMP documentation and compliance
  • Strong skills in change management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to operate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Bachelor's degree in sciences or engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years of industry experience
  • Experience with GMP regulations and cell therapy
Preferred Qualifications
  • Involvement in delivering a cell therapy-based product into clinical development
  • Direct experience in cell GMP manufacturing facilities with expertise in CAR-T, NK cell therapy
Requirements
  • Advanced technical knowledge of cell therapy manufacturing operations/process
  • Working knowledge and experience with Quality Systems, including deviations and change controls
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work on a Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday shift, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, 10-hour shifts x 4 days a week
