We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Plant Logistics Engineer for an established client. If you are passionate about optimizing manufacturing plant floor layouts, material replenishment strategies, tugger routes, and manufacturing floor logistics, we want to speak with you. Your expertise will be instrumental in maximizing operational efficiency, warehouse management, inventory control, seamless material flow, and lean principles across the manufacturing floor.

- Demonstrate exceptional skills in warehousing and distribution, ERP and MRP systems, Lean Material Flow, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Showcase a wealth of experience in manufacturing plant floor layouts, material replenishment strategies, tugger routes, and manufacturing floor logistics.
- Prove your expertise in Bills of Materials, cycle counting, inventory control, and warehouse management systems, vital for seamless logistics.
- Exhibit outstanding computer skills, particularly with SAP and MS Office products, enabling you to analyze data and drive data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills, pivotal in transforming our logistics operations.
- Possess an impressive track record of implementing efficient plant floor layouts and driving material replenishment strategies to enhance productivity.
Essential Duties
- Play a pivotal role in developing and implementing the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) program, ensuring seamless execution and logistics optimization.
- Review and design logistics operations, with a laser focus on optimizing plant floor layouts and material-handling systems for enhanced productivity.
- Leverage your mastery of material replenishment strategies and tugger routes to create efficient and streamlined material flow.
- Drive the creation of packaging standards and methodologies, enhancing material flow and warehouse efficiency.
- Identify, implement, and optimize warehouse management system (WMS) solutions to elevate our logistics operations to new heights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide logistics technology and information, enabling effective and efficient support of product manufacturing and service.
- Utilize your expertise in Lean principles to implement continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor.
- Champion the development and implementation of Lean Six Sigma-based material replenishment strategies, driving excellence in our manufacturing processes.
- Lead the charge in analyzing and recommending changes to work processes, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the logistics department.
- Evaluate and deploy inventory tracking technology and web-based warehousing software, unlocking the full potential of our plant or distribution center.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
