Job Store Staffing is seeking aManufacturing Engineerto join our client’s amazing team!Thisfamily-owned leader in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing values their team of top-notch, experienced employees who care about producing high quality products for their customers.

Shift:Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation:$19.00 - $25.00

Duties Include:

• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Continuously monitors production outputs to ensure specifications are met; partners with Quality Inspection and Safety teams to ensure standards are met
• Coordinates production with shop teams and supervisors
• Assist with additional projects when needed
• Evaluates and approves design changes and specifications
• Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product andprocess capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes.
• Analyzes and interprets blueprints and helps programs lasers, turret presses, and brake pressesto meet specifications
• Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes on machines such as brake presses, N/C turret punches,welding, laser, CNC milling centers, CNC lathes
• Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred
• BS/BA in a technical or manufacturing field, 4 years of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must demonstrate proficiency reading technical specifications and blueprints
• Proficient in Solid Works

Ability to operate in a fast paced environmentandhandle multiple projects at one time
