About the role


The brand new plant in North Carolina is a critical move for Autel to fulfill our commitment to global reach. And we are looking for a Manufacture Engineer to maximize the efficiency of this new plant.


The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for a variety of tasks but will focus on process improvement to ensure that the most efficient and productive process layouts are being utilized. The Manufacturing Engineer will document and specify routine, regular procedures, and work instructions for the use of equipment and processes that affect product performance. They will develop and evaluate equipment and tools for efficiency. They will also investigate and initiate corrective actions and perform root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are communicated to the production personnel through work instructions or procedure updates and training.

Responsibility:

  • Will help work as a change agent role to sustain the organization’s current performance and assure its future performance. This includes enabling people to work effectively as they plan, implement and experience change and increasing people’s ability to manage future change.
  • Review the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies.
  • Establish acceptance criteria for new tools, equipment, and/or processes.
  • Analyze SPC (statistical process control) data for identified work processes to ensure the level of performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for rejected or faulty parts. Research work processes and conduct failure analysis to determine the cause of errors or problem parts.
  • Analyze highly complex products and processes. Plan the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout. Direct the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
  • Document and maintain process procedures, work instructions, and tool drawings.
  • Serve as a technical resource and Manufacturing liaison to Supply Management and New Product Development for new and existing parts, products, and processes.
  • Scrap reduction and yield improvement of products and processes.
  • Assist with instructing, training, and answering area-specific questions for less experienced Manufacturing Engineers or other departmental personnel.



The Successful Candidates

  • 3+ years’ experience in an assembly manufacturing environment preferred.
  • B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering/Technology, from an accredited institution preferred.

● Knowledge of different technologies that support troubleshooting of electrical circuits.

● Able to speak and read Mandarin preferred.

● Knowledge of EV charging systems a plus.
