Allied Consultants, Inc. is an Austin-based firm which has for 31 years been a premier provider of technical and business professionals to clients in Texas. We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Tester to be a key resource on a technical services team.

Responsibilities

Manual tester position: Ideal candidate should have 6+ years of hands-on experience testing Java based Web applications which deal with complex business logic. Experience testing in Agile and Waterfall methodologies and CRM web services testing would be preferred.

Any experience in State Agencies, health care, benefits, pension systems would be an added plus.

Candidate should have good communication skills, fast learner and work independently with minimal supervision.

This position is open to Austin residents and is a hybrid role - requiring 2 days onsite in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

Minimum (Required):

• Experience in State Agencies, health care, benefits, pension systems would be an added plus
• Experience querying relational databases and writing SQL.
• 6+ years of testing experience on web applications.
• Experience in Agile Methodology and Waterfall
• Testing Web Services using SoapUI/Postman/REST.
• Knowledge of VB Scripting, Java.

• CRM web services testing
