JOB SUMMARY
As a member of the Global Procurement team, the Manager eProcurement, is part of the Global Operations (GO) organization, which is known for taking ideas into implementation across all brands, disciplines, and continents and reports to the Director, eProcurement. This role provides functional eProcurement expertise and consultative support to regional and property teams for Managed properties in the US and Canada and CALA. This position is responsible for the development, deployment, maintenance, and measurement of the processes and tools to successfully manage eProcurement and inventory of the platform implementation. This role will primarily focus on implementation and support of HotShop eProcurement and inventory platform for all new openings and property conversions. The Manager has broad knowledge and understanding of the procure to pay ecosystem, providing support and driving initiatives with the context of procurement goals, knowledge of finance policies, and expertise in using the platform.
This position will assist the Director, eProcurement in leading eProcurement and Inventory implementations and support for all hotels and users throughout US and Canada and CALA. The position will report to the Director, eProcurement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
- 3+ years of progressive related work experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Acumen, preferably in hospitality field
- Customer support experience including issue research and resolution
- 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related major
- Ability to travel approximately up to 50% of the time
- Familiarity with purchasing/procurement, finance and inventory processes and policies and associated systems. Data analysis and manipulation skills; critical thinking and ability to work with data sets from multiple support ticket tracking tools

- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Enterprise mindset; able to work with diverse stakeholders with focus on developing and integrating best practices across all brands & businesses
- Strong focus on the customer, both internal and external
- Thorough knowledge of the principles, procedures, and techniques of accounting, and of financial records and transactions including, but not limited to, generally accepted accounting principles
- Effective verbal and written communications to interface well with properties, Finance teams, MBS/AHS, BirchStreet Systems, Procurement, and suppliers.
- Self-motivated
- Ability to communicate important technical information effectively with non-technology managers
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to communicate important finance information and policy effectively with non-finance managers
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
- Assists or leads system deployments for new openings/transitions/exits to ensure key finance processes are supported.
- Monitors and manages the implementation progress and deployment of eProcurement and Inventory solutions to vendors and business functions.
- Identifies trends, successes, and areas of need or opportunity and provides recommendations for training solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet business need

- Regularly reviews position IDs for all users to ensure compliance with finance policy. Escalates any requests and/or system configurations that are deviations from policy.

- Manages system data to support development and roll out of procurement initiatives, provides processes and communications that create accountability with project team to drive results.
- Identifies trends, successes, and areas of need or opportunity and provides recommendations for training solutions. Monitors support tickets and provides assistance to resolve.
- Compiles, analyzes, and reports on procurement spend data.
- Maintains ownership of standard operation procedures for procure to pay system and provides recommendations for continuous improvement Communicates procurement activities within procurement, finance, and other disciplines.
- Provides assistance for the implementation and deployment of eProcurement and Inventory solution with vendors and business functions.
- Negotiates effective solutions by knowing when to compromise and by winning concessions
- Reviews scorecard reporting to the properties, which is a mix of financial and process metrics, and includes recommendations/observations.
- Drives alignment to finance and operation’s policies and procedures, provides support to hotel and area finance teams to resolve conflicts.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $64,480 to $131,705 annually.
Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $61,613 to $119,734 annually.
New York City & Westchester County, NY Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $74,550 to $131,705 annually.
Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $65,478.40 to $131,705 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.4616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
