Job Description


Manages the process improvement program in alignment with our HRO journey to meet organizational improvement goals. Manages the portfolio of all continuous improvement projects, efforts and initiatives, including monitoring the health and readiness of the portfolio, potential risks and barriers, and effectiveness of implemented solutions. Mentors and supports the team in defining, scoping, and validating improvement work to align with organizational objectives. Supports the team in coaching multidisciplinary meetings and workshops to complete deliverables and activities, while driving innovation, efficiency and change management.


Qualifications


Education & Training: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Health Care Administration, Business or related field is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with extensive experience in Lean will also be considered.


Master’s Degree is preferred.


Lean or TPS is required. Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt is required or must be obtained within one year from date of hire.


Work Orientation & Experience:


Minimum two (2) years’ experience in leadership or management is required.


Minimum four (4) years’ experience training others on continuous quality improvement and process management; facilitating process improvement teams /functioning as a change agent; hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies and approaches at an organizational level, including rapid improvement events is required.


Skills & Abilities: Knowledge and experience with rapid cycle performance improvement required. Knowledge of project and program management tools and software including intermediate level proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in preparing and delivering presentations for committees. Ability to work with statistical concepts and analysis, ability to manage several projects at once, strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Knowledge of organization and leadership development concepts and tools. Ability to lead, coach and persuade others as needed to accomplish projects a vital characteristic.
