Blast! Fitness is looking for Management for our brand new Irving Park location!

Flexibility, availability and willingness to contribute to the running of the club are expected when the need arises and/or when requested by upper management.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Work the POS system/Register (inquiries, payments, balance, change, sell water) and train staff on how to navigate DataTrak system.
  • Cash deposits
  • Tanning Procedures (Will train). Ensure the front desk staff has successfully passed the tanning procedure test on a monthly basis.
  • Must know IE, Excel, and other software programs
  • Handle all membership issues. All sales issues must be addressed and communicated with GM.
  • Know phone etiquettes/phone scripts and be able to train staff.
  • Register discrepancies must be figured out by the manager and staff w/notation on receipts in register to balance. If register print out doesn’t balance, must work w/front desk to figure out discrepancy right away.
  • Membership education which consists of being informative, professional and friendly when showing a prospective member the club’s 10-point presentation tour and presenting the two membership plans and be able to train staff on it.
  • Know all daily operations, guidelines, and BLAST/WOW! Policies and Procedures *All policies and procedures are subject to change at the discretion of Corporate Office.
  • Check and email Daily time sheets
  • Responsible for training and giving orientations to all staff on Blast!/WOW! Policies and Procedures/Handbook
  • Review all paperwork on new members sold for accuracy and completeness.
  • Opening/Closing Procedures.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the club staff.
  • Ensure all staff is CPR trained.
  • A professional, pleasant and cheerful attitude is required at all times which creates team effort
Complete all paper work and administrative duties, i.e. filling out cleaning task logs, recap sheets, tour sign-in sheets, etc.
  • Follow babysitting activity program. Constantly interact with the children, keep them busy and happy.
  • Responsible for all general cleaning which consists of mopping, filling mop buckets with clean water, wiping sinks, mirrors, lavatories and scrubbing showers with chemicals such as Lysol solution, glass cleaner, and shower foam spray, vacuuming with backpack vacuum for short durations of time, sweeping and changing *Cleaning and chemicals subject to change.
  • Opening/Closing Procedures for babysitting room. Cleaning and putting away of toys with Lysol cleaning solution.
  • Light maintenance-changing light bulbs, spot paint, etc.
  • Clean assigned club areas and/or machines with chemicals such as Lysol cleaning solution and all-purpose foaming cleaners.
  • ALL incidents, regardless of the type of issue, needs to be reported to the manager on duty immediately.
  • Mail promotional material and/or distribute flyers
  • Keeping track of inventory for cleaning products.
  • Perform equipment orientations to members which consists of changing weights and safety features
