Manager, Supply Chain Management (Perm or Interim) - Valencia, CA
Position Summary: Responsible for managing Supply Chain operations and leading the Central Services and Materials teams. The Manager will support the Supply Chain Director with accountability for daily receiving; inventory management; distribution; stock replenishment; mailroom; management of rental equipment; and charge capture processes. Manages and trains staff to ensure regulatory and safety guidelines are incorporated into the daily department processes. Manages operations within budget. Responsible for ensuring that administrative controls are in place to provide appropriate stewardship over assets, supplies and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
Licensure and Certification: · Certified Materials Resource Professional (CMRP) is preferred
Education: ·High School graduate or equivalent. ·Bachelors’ degree with course work in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Accounting. · LEAN certification; or completion of some LEAN classes is highly preferred
Experience: ·Five (5) years’ Healthcare Supply Chain logistics experience managing a bulk and low unit of measure (LUM) inventory, and distribution within an acute care hospital required. · Five (5) years supervisory experience managing warehouse and receiving, central supply and distribution and mailroom. ·Experience developing and managing departmental budget. · Experience measuring departmental productivity with industry accepted Key Performance Indicators (KPI). ·Experience working in an environment where customer service is a priority. · Experience working with a Materials Management Information System (MMIS).
Compensation: Base range around $120k to $130k, plus up to 10% bonus and relocation assistance.
