Manager Social Work LCSW and Care Coordination Weill Cornell Days

The Social Work Manager position oversees the Care Coordinators and Social Workers in the Surgery, Neurology, Burn and Acute Rehab service lines. You will work closely with interdisciplinary leadership team to enhance collaboration and ensure an excellent patient experience. You will provide clinical and administrative oversight to ensure smooth operations and work flows as patients move through the continuum of care. In this role you will provide ongoing supervision to mentor and develop staff competencies to achieve career goals. You will monitor metrics that to ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission and quality standards.

Preferred Criteria

• Management experience in social work department

Required Criteria

• At least five years of inpatient social work experience, along with proven team-building experience
• Current NYS LCSW licensure
• Master’s degree in Social Work from a recognized college or university program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
