You’ll be a lead player on the social team, collaborating to develop annual social media plans, build monthly content calendars, develop innovative ideas and manage multiple social media channels.And, to show off all your success and engagement, you’ll track social media initiatives with ongoing metric reports.

We’re looking for a self-starter who takes pride in their work who also loves to be part of a supportive team.


Primary Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity
  • Work closely with partners – teams, sponsors, PSAs, KBM drivers, NASCAR, etc. – to ensure collective strategies and goals are achieved
  • Plan production days including detailed itinerary/plan; sourcing materials/props; incorporating content into master schedule
  • Present plans, briefs, and proposals to respective internal representatives for approval
  • Draft, schedule, and post content to multiple social media channels, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
  • Utilize social, digital and creative marketing tools to maintain and grow the brands
  • Develop monthly content calendars and weekly at-track plans/shot lists
  • Research and implement social media trends that are relevant to the companies’ marketing activities; serve as an in-house expert on all things social media
  • Manage brand partnerships, including tracking product; adhering to content guidelines when shooting, editing content and sending for approval; scheduling and posting; analytic recaps; monitor payments
  • Track and monitor the success of initiatives and provide monthly and yearly reports and learnings
  • Work closely with the marketing, PR and retail teams to fully and cohesively integrate strategic plans
  • Develop and implement actionable strategies and brand voice on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and other channels across our family of brands
  • Capture, edit and create compelling photo and video content to support strategies

Ancillary Tasks, Responsibilities and Accountabilities


  • Proof-read press releases and other PR documents
  • Provide event support at company events including, but not limited to, KBM Fan Day; BOJF fundraising events; family parties; etc.
  • Provide creative support across all companies/brands, including creating graphics, decks, designs, paint schemes, uniforms, etc.
  • Other related duties as assigned
  • Maintain websites with content updates
  • Create and distribute email newsletters and blasts


Requirements


  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaborate as an effective team member.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience and deep understanding of creating and executing impactful and engaging social media content and campaigns.
  • Above all, must have a passion for learning, improving and not be happy with finishing second.
  • Organized multi-tasker with a can-do attitude.We don’t have time for Debbie Downers.
  • Vast knowledge of all relevant platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and whatever new platform is coming out tomorrow.
  • Flexible hours – nights, weekends and holidays.Because we race on weekends and social media never sleeps.
  • Agency experience preferred but not required.You’ll be simultaneously managing multiple projects, personalities and brands with tight deadlines.
  • College degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field preferred.
  • Strong writer with the ability to understand, adapt and execute use of brand voice and an exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in professional sports, NASCAR/motorsports experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds.It’s crazy and we love it.
  • Experience in photo and video editing within a social context.


This position does require extensive travel, including weekends and holidays.Schedule will be mutually decided based on events, sponsors and content needs.All travel will be arranged and paid for by the company.
