Responsibilities:
Oversees all aspects of the revenue cycle from charge capture to account resolution. Responsible for all staff and/or supervisors in the billing department of Laureate. Has strong working knowledge of the revenue cycle and coordinates a wide range of administrative duties involved in the resolution of the accounts receivable. Able to proactively identify issues and effectively problem solve as issues arise. Effectively communicates policies, procedures and processes to internal staff as well as administrators, physicians, and other individuals within the practices. Abides by and promotes HIPAA compliance at all times.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
1. Bachelor's Degree and 10 years' experience in Revenue Cycle Management with 2 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare billing environment 2. Extensive knowledge of billing and reimbursement systems 3. Knowledge of billing operations, government regulations and insurance provisions 4. Good written and oral communication skills
PREFERRED:
1. 15 years' experience in Revenue Cycle Management 2. Certified Coder 3. Experience with Alscripts PM 4. 3-5 years Physician Practice Management experience
Work Hours:: 6:00am-6:00pm (flex time between these hours)
