Threshold Rehabilitation Services Inc., a leader in supporting individuals with mental illness challenges, has an opening for a full-time Manager of Peer Support Services. The hours of this position are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, flexible, with on-call responsibilities during work hours.

The Manager of Peer Support Services is responsible for providing supervision to all Certified Peer Specialists, providing direct care Peer Support Services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining required trainings, attend staff and supervision meetings and participate in Threshold committees as assigned.
• Provide advocacy and assistance as follow up and outreach to peers.
• Model self-empowerment and self-responsibility as a core recovery oriented principle in guiding all aspects of service deliver,
• Work cooperatively with peers in developing, reviewing and attaining personal recovery tools.
• Facilitate family involvement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the VP of Mental Health Services.
• Complete all required documentation and submit to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Provide peer support.
• Supervise all Certified Peer Support Specialists, meeting with them weekly and completing required supervision documentation.
• Assist in completion of admission requirements for referrals, including strength based assessments.
• Assist the VP of Mental Health Services in developing/managing/evaluating Peer Support services. Ensure compliance with state regulations, contracts and agreements. Strive to promote quality in program services.
• Support vocational choices.
• Participate in treatment plan meetings as needed.

• Minimum of 12 months work or volunteer experience within the last 3 years.$20.00
• Child Abuse Clearance
• Must possess Peer Specialist and Peer Specialist Supervisor Certifications.
• FBI Clearance (Department of Human Services)
• FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
• Pre-employment Drug Screen
• PA Criminal History Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in generally recognized, related area.
• Computer knowledge is a must
