Job Description

Position Description:


Bluemercury seeks a strategic, results-oriented Manager to elevate our marketing capabilities through data-driven analysis and decision making. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Loyalty and Marketing Analytics, the Marketing Analytics Manager will leverage transactional, customer, and loyalty data to perform analyses, identify insights, make recommendations, and drive improved performance of marketing activities. This individual will assist in building a broader marketing analytics capability focused on generating customer behavior that drives deeper relationships with Bluemercury.



Essential Functions:

· Work across various platforms and tools to provide inclusive customer analytics (behavioral & attitudinal) to fuel marketing strategies

· Design new analysis and reporting processes built upon disparate, distributed data sets and leveraging BI tools for data parsing and visualization

· Identify, measure, and report on marketing KPIs across sales and loyalty, with a particular focus on branded marketing campaign improvement

· Leverage campaign analysis and customer insights to recommend improvements for promotions to drive increased sales

· Use data analyses to contribute recommendations for more efficient omni-channel CRM programs that drive deeper engagement across stores, web, email, SMS, and social

· Design and implement testing strategies to better understand customer behavior (e.g. deeper understanding of device usage, creative and messaging preferences, and engagement drivers)

· Communicate prioritized recommendations on promotional changes, marketing tactics, and/or CRM strategies to senior leadership team



Qualifications

· BA/BS degree in marketing, business, data science, math, or related field

· 4+ years’ experience in customer or marketing analytics, with experience in programming languages (e.g. SQL), BI software and/or reporting and visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI)

· Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to make decisions

· Deep understanding of relational databases

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders of various technical backgrounds

· Excellent data storytelling and presentation skills

· Highly organized, results-driven, and solution-oriented

· Familiarity with test design and execution

· Experience with account management and/or collaborating with external agency partners, preferred

· Experience in retail, preferred
