We are looking for a Manager, High Roller Gifting. This role is key to building the infrastructure of the VIP merchandise and gifting team. This role will live within the VIP organization and will require frequent cross-functional collaboration with several groups, including hospitality, events, loyalty marketing, partnerships, analytics, amongst many others. Ultimately, you are responsible for the development and management of the VIP Gifting strategy, which includes local, national and tentpole event campaigns for our top Players.


What You’ll Do As Manager, High Roller Gifting


  • Streamline gifting requests across the team
  • Provide coaching, training and leadership support to employees in order to achieve department & company goals
  • Continually seek out new vendors and innovative product opportunities, including fulfillment and warehouse suppliers
  • Build assortments that meet the needs of our VIP customers by considering attributes, intended end-use, pricing and market trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and internal departments
  • Stay in the know on emerging trends and identify hero products that will achieve sales success that contribute to REI
  • Create the proper tooling to track gifting and inventory management
  • Report into the Director of Events & Hospitality and act as the subject matter expert in VIP gifting at DraftKings
  • Develop and build the merchandise & gifting strategy to help support the entire VIP Organization
  • Negotiate with vendors for best costs, discounts, freight which will support the team’s profitability


What You’ll Bring


  • Comfortability working in a fast-paced, dynamic and highly collaborative environment
  • Strong base of contacts within the merchandising industry, knowledge of product strategy and analytics
  • Comfort generating insights from data and explaining analytical concepts to leadership
  • History of managing a large budget
  • Customer first mindset with a focus on personalization
  • Experience leading a team with the ability to manage outside vendors and merchandising partners
  • 5+ years relevant experience in merchandising, hospitality or business with a focus on building VIP gifting programs/experiences
  • Confidence in presenting ideas and concepts within and across the organization – strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of merchandising principles and the market with the ability to translate that information into assortment plans and product selections
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $94,400.00 - $141,600.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
