POSITION DESCRIPTION

The day-to-day manager position requires someone who isn’t afraid to dive in and tackle everyday projects but can also keep a high-level overview of the direction of the artists’ vision. This positon requires the ability to multi-task under pressure while also planning future initiatives.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a day-to-day manager you will be required to work closely alongside the artist manager and the team. The perfect person will have excellent communication, be extremely organized and pay attention to detail. The applicant should possess a deep knowledge of the music industry and the team involved. The person for this role will be an optimistic, upbeat, problem-solver where priorities can and will be revised and refocused.

· Day-to-day project oversight for roster in addition to any future signing(s).

· Primary day-to-day correspondent with management clients

· Manage and run point on all tour development and implementation

· Plan and implementation of marketing campaigns across all departments, including promo, social media plans, press, marketing, merchandise and touring.

· Manage artists schedule and overall calendar

· Maintain daily communication flow with Manager and artist

· Act as key point of contact for all partners, becoming the communication hub for all information between management, labels, publishers, booking agents, accountants, merchandise, touring, brands and PR

· Coordinate the logistics involved with marketing plans and release roll outs with label, manager and team

· Assist manager and brand marketing manager with artist overall brand development in all endeavors

· Assist Manager and (as necessary) staff music video shoots, photo shoots and related events

· Coordinate artist accounting with business manager, complete and manage artist revenue projections (with direction from Manager) and billbacks

· Manage merchandise development, creative, production and selling on tour, ecommerce and licensing deals

· Advance artist engagements, ensuring that event logistics are seamless from start to finish

· Navigate artist ticket requests for tour and special events

· Manage artists family on site at events

· Oversee activation on sponsorship and licensing deals

· Schedule PR with publicity teams for all press & promotional obligations

· Provide exceptional client service

· Work with digital teams in development of content and execute digital marketing plans as they interface with the artist

· Assist manager and artist with necessary administrative duties


Job requirements:


● BA/BS degree preferred

● Highly organized and detail oriented

● Excellent communicator

● Confident and self-starter

● Flexible and team player

● Strong proficiency in Dropbox, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slack

● Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills are essential

● Must be willing to travel

● 3+ years of experience in this space


Hours:

Full-time, 40-hours a week, typically 9am-5pm


Benefits:

● Paid time off 10 days per year

● 8 holidays annually


Compensation:

$70,000 - $85,000 annually, based on experience
