Overview

The Ciphertrace team is looking for a Manager, Crypto Analysis to support engagements with virtual asset service providers, financial institutions, nonbank financial institutions, and other applicable entities to support a safer virtual asset ecosystem for businesses, consumers, and investors.

Role

• Support the execution of bespoke consulting projects for a range of clients
• Participate in conferences and events as a thought leader on crypto risk
• Partner with stakeholders across the Mastercard organization to support crypto risk and analysis-related initiatives
• Conduct the underlying analysis for and author virtual asset service provider and jurisdictional risk assessments for clients around the world
• Identify growth opportunities for Ciphertrace and Mastercard
• Conduct analysis on regulatory developments within the crypto ecosystem

All About You

The ideal candidate for this position should:

• Sound knowledge of blockchain technology, virtual assets, and cryptocurrencies
• Interest in develop best practice standards to mitigate risk within the virtual asset ecosystem.
• Intermediate experience in traditional finance, consulting, crypto or the legal industry
• Ability to brief clients on analytical findings and executive conclusions
• Ability to draw from datasets and conduct analysis in support of risk assessments
• Ability to analyze regulatory developments, policies, procedures and other legal documentation against a set of standards
• Post secondary degree in Business, Banking, Economics, or related field

Pay Ranges

Remote - New York: $110,000 - $171,000 USD
