What You’ll Do


The role of the Manager, Commercial Experiences & Program Management is to bring the B2C Travel & Sub Distributor Product to life for the Olympic & Paralympic Games travel. This role will primarily serve as the program management support for the B2C and Sub Distributor both travel and IVH/OVH product. You will work with internal and external constituents to co-ordinate, plan and manage the operations of a flawless execution of the product.


  • Support the sales & program management of the B2C Sub-Distributor Product including the development of the guest experience and journey while implementing the correct level of service
  • Create flow of communications with the IR team on internal and guest communication and data management with all purchasers
  • Support in the creation of the itinerary building and guest management system and upload and manage the data as needed
  • Work with the digital/tech team to incorporate the Sub-Distributor tours and add-ons from the third-party system into the On Location digital systems
  • Assist with the preparation of event materials throughout the planning and execution of events, collaborating with the appropriate functional areas, such as marketing
  • Support creation of program and guest check in training materials for all guest services/concierges' staff
  • Support as needed with the Digital Team to build plan for delivery of the operations including reports for guest data, itinerary building, and program operations needed
  • Support the sales of the B2C SD & Tailored packages including briefings, presentations, and proposal design (responding to special requests, amendments and specific client needs in a timely manner)
  • Support the process for special requests and other Sub-Distributor specific needs
  • Support management of the operational elements within the commercial experience including program and guest check in, guest services/concierges planning and operations
  • Work with Sub-Distributors to incorporate any third-party systems as needed for guest communications and program operations
  • Support the planning, operations, and communications with the FAs for the B2C Sub-Distributors products and ensure FA leads have correct program information for execution including change management
  • Support and build plan for delivery of the digital operations including reports for guest data, itinerary building, and program operations needs including tours with the third-party vendor
  • Help create and distribute event materials, communications, and presentation decks for internal and external constituents


Other Duties & Responsibilities


  • Create presentations and documentation in Microsoft office (PPT, Word, Excel, etc.) or Keynote as needed and assigned
  • Conduct and attend meetings as needed, including commercial experience meetings
  • Manage other administrative duties as needed
  • Attend meetings and take notes to record updates and next steps
  • Develop and implement specific event procedures and systems
  • Participate in brainstorm sessions; research, ideate and provide creative ideas
  • Manage assigned projects through companies’ project management system
  • Manage timelines and deadlines related to assignments


Travel


Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays. This position may require up to 15% travel.

Required Education And/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities


  • Experience managing budgets and processing payments
  • Experience in strategic thinking and planning events including putting process and best practices in place
  • Strive for ongoing creativity, innovation and new way of planning and executing events
  • Experience with Global Events and Operations in the Travel & Hospitality Industry
  • Experience in the entire life cycle of a planning a Global Event from strategy to execution required
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Sports Marketing and/or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels including strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Extensive experience with guest services as well as event curation, execution, and/or operations
  • Must have an interest in travel, tours, experiences, experiential marketing and continuously research new concepts, interesting ideas, and activations

  • End-to-end understanding of the Olympic environment, and hospitality programs and relating processes at major sporting events
  • French language skills or other languages
