Job Description
Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Advanced Requirements Division of SURFACE MAINT ENG PLANNING PROGRAM. Responsibilities You will develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on work methods You will coordinate and standardize cost data collection and reporting for SURFMEPP. You will distribute, collect, and provide analysis for cost related data You will provide process change recommendation resulting from analyses of performance measures and metrics. You will develop, maintain, and analyze maintenance cost history/trend data for all surface ships. You will gather, assemble, analyzes data and produces, graphs, charts, trends and models based on assessment and analysis of data. You will represent the organization in meetings and conferences with government and private sector representatives. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NH-02 (GS-11 equivalent) grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector "analyzing and advising on programs related to financial, contractual, or manpower for organizational business operations." Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This hiring activity, within Naval Sea System Command Headquarters, has converted to positions to an alternate personnel system named the Acquisition Demonstration Project. This position is in the Acquisition Demonstration project, salary range shown is equivalent to the GS-12 and GS-13, however the salary range for this position is capped at GS-13 step 5 at $113,008.
