Job Description
Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Program Executive Officer for Air Anti-Submarine Warfare Systems, Assault and Special Mission Programs (PEO(A)) of PEO FOR AIR ASW. Responsibilities You will serve as the expert adviser on the PEO(A) civilian and military manpower management programs. You will advise executives, managers, and supervisors of the PEO organization with respect to strategic planning and analysis of workforce readiness and skills. You will work closely with management to identify and analyze future workforce capabilities, requirements, and sizing and development recruitment strategies to target identified skill imbalances. You will serve as expert advisor to the PEO on all issues relating to Team-wide performance management and compensation initiatives. You will facilitate the work of program teams and provide assessments on program cost, schedule, and performance. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-3 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1)Planning and conducting integrated analytical studies that identify methods to improve effectiveness and efficiency of work methods, procedures, organizations, manpower use, work distribution, delegation of authority, management controls, information and documentation systems and similar functions as they relate to the acquisition program; 2) Providing technical leadership and guidance to multi-disciplined personnel from various levels of the organization to resolve issues associated with business processes/procedures; 3) Developing innovative strategies and plans; and 4) Serving as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the acquisition program needs are addressed and goals are met.
