Job Description

SUMMARY

Responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment and automated processes.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Troubleshoot, and repair Allen Bradley PLCs, panel views and related accessories.(servos, inverters, starters,etc…)


Troubleshoot and repair photo sensors, level sensor and all other electronic and electrical equipment in a production environment.


Analyze and resolves problems related to automation, instrumentation and electronics.


Confer with supervisors and leads to coordinate repairs and or changes to processes relating to automation and technical issues.


SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


General plant maintenance relating to production and the facility.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

A minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to understand and communicate in Spanish.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
