Maintenance Technician Jobs

SL Jensen's property management company, Milestone Development, is looking for an experienced maintenance technician to oversee the apartments and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a neat and orderly maintenance shop and track inventory
• Inspect all work performed by outside contractors
• Regularly inspect laundry facilities, common areas, storage, garages, and grounds to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness
• Inspect and/or perform grounds maintenance ensuring high level curb appeal
• Diagnose and perform major, minor and routine maintenance/repairs as well as provide exceptional customer service to the communities' residents
• Communicate with supervisor as to status of service requests, make ready units, etc
• Complete vacant units to make ready status.
• Perform all interior and exterior repairs to maintain apartments, common areas, buildings and grounds

Qualifications

• A background check and drug screen will be required prior to hire
• Tolerance to all extremes of hot and cold weather
• Maintenance experience
• Knowledge of appliance repair, light carpentry, plumbing and electrical
• Be available for on-call maintenance schedule
• Ability to work independently
