Maintenance Technician I (1) - Industrial

Location: Wilson, NC / Pay Rate: $20.67 Hourly / Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician I (1)

The Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production equipment, troubleshoots equipment failures, and performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, and electrical maintenance. In addition, he or she helps install new equipment.

The Ideal Maintenance Tech I Candidate Has

• Is physically able to perform the duties of the job (move heavy equipment/machinery, climb ladders, perform repetitive motions, walk/stand, etc.)
• Basic mechanical understanding and repair.
• One year of maintenance experience in an industrial setting (preferred).
• Knows proper use of various hand tools and has their own hand tools.
• One year of mechanical or electrical knowledge (preferred).
• Is a team player who can work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Has as strong communication skills.
• Is willing to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, and holidays.
• Basic plumbing and leak repair.
