The Opportunity

Organize schedule and assign all work to be done on production equipment, including daily, monthly, semiannual and annual rebuilds, work closely with the production management and maintenance personal to insure that the facility is up to the required standards, coach and develop the Maintenance Mechanics, identify and implement process optimization projects in the safest and environmentally friendly manner possible.

• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules
• Confer with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments
• Develop solutions to plant related problems.
• Provide performance coaching to the Maintenance Mechanics.
• Responsible for creating, modifying, deleting, (managing) work orders in the inventory management system SAP
• Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
• Directs workers engaged in maintaining and repairing equipment including but not limited to such items as: motors, pumps, conveyors, fillers, case formers, case loaders, sealers, coders, palletizers and other packing and processing equipment
• Maintain and service plant equipment and facilities.
• Conduct audits to ensure employees are performing tasks according to standards operating procedures (SOP).
• Maintain records, files, instruction manuals, and necessary parts and supplies for all plant equipment.
• Create, improve, manage, and expand preventative maintenance programs for plant equipment and facilities.

The Skills You Will Bring To The Team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance related field preferred
• Strong SAP knowledge preferred
