Job Description

Essential duties include:

  • Leading, scheduling and direct supervision of maintenance team and vendors
  • Interviewing and selecting quality candidates for custodial and grounds positions
  • Follow OSHA guidelines and manage compliance
  • Train, mentor and supervise all maintenance personnel
  • Research and evaluate products for the maintenance and upkeep of the property
  • Required certifications/licenses include:
    • HVAC
    • CPO
  • Replace broken windows
  • Change AC filters
  • Appliance repair
  • Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • General carpentry work
  • Electrical repairs
  • HVAC repairs
  • Plumbing repairs
  • CPO
  • Must have the knowledge and ability to perform the following duties:
    • Plumbing repairs
    • Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms
    • Replace screens
    • Appliance repair
    • Electrical repairs
    • Roofing/siding inspection/minor roof/siding repair
    • Change AC filters
    • HVAC repairs
    • General carpentry work
    • Replace broken windows
  • Replace screens
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising a team
  • HVAC
  • Effective leadership and team building abilities
  • Roofing/siding inspection/minor roof/siding repair
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Must be able to lift 80-100 on a regular basis
  • Must be available for night/weekend call duty
