Job Description

Ainsley Search Group is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor with a hands-on leadership and solid maintenance management for a global Specialty Chemical Manufacturer located in Middlesex County. This Maintenance Supervisor will report to Plant Manager, lead, and develop a maintenance team and plan, optimize PM, develop maintenance procedures, promote plant reliability and safety. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with lucrative compensation and benefit, in addition, the company would like to develop the right individual to become the Maintenance Manager in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and standardize maintenance practice, procedure and process across organization, lead and manage plant maintenance programs, oversee equipment inspections, support capex project scheduling, high quality maintenance repairs, safety and reliability training to optimize overall plant safety, reliability and efficiency.
  • Plan, schedule manpower based on maintenance schedule, provide hands-on training and coaching to subordinate and identify subordinate’s potentials to further develop the maintenance team, optimize and improve team performance and further stabilize turnover.
  • Report to Plant Manager and collaborate with cross functional teams in manufacturing, engineering, R&D, supply chain, contractors to plan, leverage CMMS to plan for daily PM, response to emergency maintenance request and collaborate with contracts on repair and upgrade on automated industrial and facility equipment.
  • Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a maintenance team, plan staffing outlook for maintenance team based on operational demand and make decision on hiring, training, etc.
  • Manage, maintain, and update Maintenance Management System, manage and track work orders, Planned PM, spare parts inventory, MRP management and maintenance history, generate maintenance reports and address any issues with senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, CMMS and ERP based systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill, strong knowledge in Project Management skill.
  • High School Diploma, higher education desired.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, strong knowledge in automation and industrial systems.
  • Strong mindset in process improvement, process safety and reliability.
  • Hands-on leadership skill, ability to establish rapport and hold subordinate accountable, ability to restructure and develop a team.
  • 5+ years of tenure in maintenance management within manufacturing industry, expose to high volume, high speed manufacturing process is as plus.
  • Capex Project experience.
  • Aspiration to advance to senior management level
