Job Description

Position Details:

Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Rumford, ME (~90 minutes north of greater Portland)

Shift: 1st shift hours, typically 6:00am – 4:00pm Mon.-Thu. or Fri., some work on weekends for any shutdowns.

Compensation: $90K-$120K + 10-15% bonus based on net income of facility and production + full relocation.

Travel: Very minimal to none.

Vaccine Requirement: Not Required.

Position Description:

You will be responsible for leading and supervising a group of maintenance professionals to maintain utilities and associated equipment with a strong emphasis on safe work practices. Key duties include:

· Demonstrate/establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.

· Maintain a daily focus on the safety & ensure that all safety training is accurate and up to date.

· Facilitate weekly planning meetings.

· Perform routine work order planning & scheduling to maintain reliable equipment operation.

· Use SAP tools to create work plans, bill of materials, document work history, and time confirmation.

· Apply/expand technology and industry learning for equipment & process reliability improvement.

· Assist in the refinement of essential care routes for area maintenance personnel.

· Transform reliability work from reactionary & time-based to a condition-based maintenance process.

· Develop and update detailed shutdown schedules for major outages.


Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.

· Previous supervisor leadership experience with previous utilities. Any reliability experience a plus.

· Good leadership, organization, personal skills, communication, problem-solving, & decision-making.

· Good project leadership and ability to interact/work with all levels of personnel.
